Thanksgiving Blessings

Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted so I guess I'll update you today by showing you what we have been up to....

Have you been peeking in and disappointed that there were no updates here?

Jeepers, don't be too cranky that I haven't posted in awhile...

We haven't been hiding...

We've just been busy playing with our sweet Cody. We are also getting into the holiday spirit by doing online shopping (no malls for us - yuck!!!). We've taken Cody to get his first Santa Claus pictures at the local Christmas event. (sorry, I can't post any here since they were taken by a professional photographer) and we've bundled up and watched the Christmas parade in town.

We were family-less for Thanksgiving this year since we won't be making the trip to Roseau until New Year's and my parents were bummin' around at the beach in Texas. Our good friends the Dicksons were also family-less for the holiday since their daughters would be going to different homes, so we made a little trek to South Dakota and enjoyed a wonderful Thankgiving dinner, lots of laughs, and great fellowship! Thanks to Mark and Dee for a memorable weekend! (for more pictures of the weekend, you can see Dee's post at http://thedicksonfamily4.shutterfly.com/)

I also have to add how thankful we are for a wonderful neighbor who allowed us the opportunity to travel over Thanksgiving by volunteering to take care of our horses. We didn't even have to call and ask!!

Looking back at the past year we have many things to be thankful for. No doubt our little Cody has been one of the greatest gifts God has blessed us with. He brings us much joy with his delightful personality and abundant smiles and giggles. We hope you've also found many things to be thankful for this past year, and enjoyed your Thanksgiving wherever you celebrated!

Don't forget to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and see the new pictures of our now 11 month old!

(Happy Birthday Lori and Molly!)
